We posted some information in the news section also. I hope this helps and these bunnies are saved. It is just such a sad situation. We will spread the word and hopefully these sweet bunnies will find homes before it is too late.

THE BUNNIES TIME IS RUNNING OUT!!!
Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

THEY WILL START EUTHANIZING BUNNIES BEGINNING 30 July 2008:

22 July 2008 San Gabriel, Southern Calif. PLEASE
CROSS-POST

SINCE MY FIRST POST LAST WEEK: 2 rabbits in, one out, one hopefully to go
out Friday.

We still have 40 rabbits at the shelter. We have gotten a little extra
time because they know we are doing a fancy construction job on their
bunny area…. HOWEVER: If we do not get 10-15 rabbits out within the next
10 days--or if more rabbits come in they will begin to euthanize.

PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN.

These are wonderful, adoptable, beautiful, mostly spayed and neutered
rabbits and they all deserve a second chance.

Can you help? We will find a way to transport if you can take some bunnies.

Please help!

These are some of the now at-risk bunnies who need to get out of the shelter.

NOAH
Noah loves to be held and cuddled and he is a beautiful boy, yet he has
been at the shelter for a year and he can be a bit shy or grumpy at first.
He is neutered and about 1 1/2 years old. Very curious personality.

Neutered.
SUDI & HOPALONG
Sudi is Noah's mum and Hopalong his brother. Both rabbits are fixed. Both
bunnies are very friendly, and though you cannot tell from the pics, Sudi
has very light greyish-tan patches--they are very pretty bunnies.
These guys have been here over a year
http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=8365905 and they
deserve a family and home of their own, too. Sudi can be a bit
cage-aggressive, but when out to play they are silly and friendly. Both
fixed.

ISABELLE & GEORGE
2 more of Sudi's babies. This pair would make great family pets.
Friendly, fun & playful with toys. They too have been here a year and
need love and their own humans. Both fixed.

EMILY
Emily's sister, Lizzy, was adopted out last month (they had to be
separated due to hormones. Sad Emily is just as sweet, curious and funny
as her sister and would make a good first bunny for anyone.

MARVIN
This is a super super sweet boy. Cuddly, silly, friendly - just a total
love bug. He's been here a while because, well, he's a whitey. . . right?
http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=9393092

ROWAN & RADCLIFFE
Rowan came in with 5 babies and her intact husbun - and then, a few days
later, she gave birth to eight more babies! She is GORGEOUS and sweet
and all her babies, a mix of harlequin (looking) bunnies, tortoiseshell
and dutch bunnies, are stunningly pretty and sweet. HUGE ears!

Following are some of the babies:

http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11165202
http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=10385340
(theseboys are currently separated, Bunson is the darker of the two)

SPUMONI & CONFETTI
Perfect first/family/anybody bunnies, and so pretty to boot!
http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=10385341

CLAUDE & EDWARD
These are smaller type bunnies who we took in from another shelter earlier
this year *they were going to be euthanized and we wanted to help).
Perfect bunnies for anyone, they are friendly, playful wonderful little
men. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=10385339

URGENT: Shelter Crisis - Rabbit Homes Needed NOW!
Dear Friend of Zooh Corner,

The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society is at crisis capacity with 39 rabbits in a space designed to accommodate only about 20 rabbits. Thus far, this year has been one of the worst we've experienced in terms of rabbits being dumped, and we are in desperate need of foster and forever homes. We have bunnies of all shapes, colors, and sizes, and all ages, too - babies, adolescents, adults - all charming, cute, and ready to find their own families! See them all on our website by clicking here .

If you have a single bunny that would like a friend - or if you'd like to start your rabbit addiction with one bunny, a bonded pair, or a bonded trio - now is the time! Please - if you can help save a life, or two - email alex@mybunny.org.

On behalf of the bunnies, THANK YOU!

Claude and Edward

Claude and Edward are two sweet brothers who were dumped together at the shelter. They are already neutered and just as cute as can be. One is a total lop, and the other keeps his ears up most of the time . . . but they tend to flop as he runs. This darling duo would love to frolic in your house and dazzle you with their goofy bunny antics. Click here to submit an adoption request form to adopt Claude and Edward.

Noah

Noah is a beautiful golden brown bunny. At the shelter he's a bit subdued (he's been there more than a year!) and would dearly love a home of his home where he can get lots of love, human attention, toys, and exercise time. He would probably love a sweet bunny girlfriend to share his life with - he's already neutered and ready to bond with the girl of his dreams. Click here to submit an adoption request form to adopt Noah.

Emily
Emily and her sister Lizzy were left at the shelter as babies last year. After they grew up they didn't get along with each other anymore and had to be separated, although both girls continued to be sweet as pie to volunteers and visitors. Lizzy was lucky enough to find her forever home, but Emily is still waiting at the shelter for her family to come along. She would make a great companion to a nice boy bunny. Click here to submit an adoption request form to adopt Emily.

If you're able to help, please email Alex at alex@mybunny.org. We are primarily seeking homes in Southern California, but will consider other locations on a case-by-case basis. Can't adopt? Please spread the word to people you know, or consider a donation! Click here to donate online or send a check to the address below. Thank you!

How are things going with the bunnies who urgently needed homes? I hope they all were able to find a forever or foster home.
