Is it hard to clean a cage if there isn `t a pullout tray? Also do all of them have a pullout bottom or just some?

Some cages have pull out trays, some do not. The pull out trays are probably easier to clean. I got rid of my cage for my bunny and switched to a puupy exercise pen. The cage was PAIN to clean and didn't give my bunny enough room. The puupy pen is so much easier to clean!! All I have to do is vacuum up any poops or hay that don't make it in the litter box. And my bunny is soooo much happy with the extra room.

My rabbit, Nemo, has a very comfy puppy pen to live in. I highly recommend this setup or an NIC setup.

If you need advice on how to create an NIC setup, please register for free at www.rabbitsonline.net and they have plenty of pictures and instructions for how to do so. The panels are available at target for SUPER cheap.

DO NOT get a wire bottom cage for your rabbit, as this causes sore hocks on the bottom of their feet.

What breed of bunny are you getting? Rex's are more typically prone to severe types of sore hocks, simply because their feet do not have much fur on the bottom.

Most pull out tray cages are wired bottoms....please consider this first!!!
